Miyuki Quality
You can't go wrong with Miyuki with their consistent sizing and colors. These have a more green tinge than the photo and are exactly what I wanted in a true green turquoise color. I am using them in a seed beaded leather cuff mixed with Miyuki bronze seed beads. Auntie's always has a great selection of Miyuki seed beads.

A good match for patinaed copper or turquoise
If you have copper components with either applied or natural patina, this is a good seed bead match color. A few of these beads here and there help to "flesh out" a piece, since too many compromises the look of the strength of the metal. This is also a good bead to use with greenish turquoise.

Turquoise poise
Color is an excellant green turquoise and all beads are very uniform in size and shape. Will look great in many projects. These will go with some copper 3mm rounds and star fish charms in a bracelet.

Questions and Answers

Q: what is a 0 bead?
Asked by: Barbara Kernaghan - 4/8/2015
A: Are you referring to the "0" in the 6/0? That is the size. It is a 6 aught bead. I also found this explanation online:
When seed beads were first being manufactured, the standard size bead was referred to as the “null” or “aught” bead. No one knows for sure how the sizes were developed, but it is believed that they were numbered according to how many beads could be lined up side by side in the space of one inch. Accordingly, the larger the number, the smaller the seed bead.
