Miyuki 4x7mm Long Magatama, Matte Metallic Patina Iris (LMA) are a new longer dagger shaped Japanese seed bead. Their hole is on a slant so that they lean in one direction when strung. This color has a very rustic look and is great when paired with antique copper, antique brass or bronze.

Long Magatama Beads
I made a kumihimo bracelet using the long Magatama bead combination of Matte Met Patina Iris, Matte Tr Sea Glass Green and Matte Tr Green AB. This is a very textured bracelet and is striking with a snake head and tail bracelet clasp.

Beautiful magatamas!
I really love the finish on these magatamas! The blue/green/aqua shadings are lovely. I am using them to make a beaded kumihimo bracelet--gorgeous!

My Favorite Magatama
This color is my favorite color of the long magatamas. It goes well with any metal, turquoise, and green Czech glass beads.

Funky but so much fun to work with!
I wasn't sure what to do with these but loved the unique shape of them. Then I found a strand of 5MM freshwater pearls in that included cream, light green, cranberry, copper, and light blue. I strung 8 Magatama beads, 1 spacer, 1 pearl, 1 spacer, and so on. I strung the pearls in the order that they were originally strung. The necklace turned out out beautifully. I will be ordering more of these odd shaped beads.
