I needed a chain to put my gold heart on, this is a perfect fit.

So happy to find this item. I can find the silver locally but not gold filled.

Glad to find this g/f chain. My daughter prefers it to silver and wanted me to make a floating bead 3-strand necklace for her. The 0.7mm is the perfect size for the beads and the g/f 2x2 crimp beads also purchased will secure the beads onto the chain. Plan on ordering more to have on hand for when she wants something else made.

Questions and Answers
Q: What is your estimate of total weight in beads that is appropriate for this chain in combination with the gold-filled chain crimp ends?
Asked by: - 11/8/2013 (Submit an answer)
A: Though I am not clear on how much the beading chain will hold, it's purpose is more of an aesthetic one much to be used as you would a mono-filament material in illusion style necklaces, it should be okay to hold several beads, but not completely strung as beading wire. I would trust that more to a link type chain, to ensure the hold on the ends.
